Ford Scout Camp

The Ford Campsite is ran and owned by North-Northumberland when it was first opened in 1970. The hut provided a safe, and enjoyable area for children to take part in Scouting activities and enjoy those memorable nights from home.

The original hut, is long since gone. However, memories live on and new memories are made at this campsite, including hosting the 100th Birthday of North-Northumberland District in 2007.

Across 2012 and 2013, the Davison Activity Centre was built and is the current building which stands and provides traditional and new experiences to young people, locally and afar.

Ford Campsite has a number of facilities available for visitors to use, these include: Defibrilator, Toiles (Including an accessible toilet), Altar Fires, Fresh Water Supply, Food Storage, Showers, Campfire Circle, Washing Area, Waste Disposal, Cooking Area, Car Park (off-site), Hot Water, Fridge/Freezer and Bivouacking/hammock area. Ford Campsite has a maximum occupancy of 120.
